Our Farmers 1st Support services and work center are made possible through a partnership with the Guam Department of Agriculture as part of the DOAG Farm and Ranch Assessment and Support Project and from donor contributions.

Our microgrants and free farmer membership are made possible through GSC’s fundraising efforts and our community’s support and contributions.

GSC, in partnership with the Guam Department of Agriculture, is promoting mental health awareness within the agricultural community and providing access to resources to support services during outreach events. On June 15, 2023 GSC held its first event with speakers from USDA FSA and Guam Dept of Agriculture to assist with typhoon disaster relief programs.

On June 5, 2023 GSC distributed micro-grants to twenty (20) farmers to help with the recovery efforts on their farms. Another round of grants was distributed on June 29 to fifty-eight (58) more farmers.

“Sen dangkolo na si Yu’os ma’ase’ GSC. A heart felt appreciation for the grant for it would help me in my recovery efforts and to restore my farm so that I can continue to provide fruits and vegetables for my family, friends and community in growing food as we’ve done historically and culturally. Amen to GSC!”

“We are so appreciative of the timely help from GSC! We are grateful for the generosity of funds, their time, and their guidance. We have several beehives and colonies to replace, and the grant from GSC will help us to do that. Many thanks from the bees and their keeper!”
