Tree Planting and Revitalization at the Veteran’s Cemetery in Piti

Join us as we honor our Veterans.

AmeriCorps Guåhan Sustainable Culture (AmeriCorps GSC) members will plant fruit trees at the Veterans Cemetery in Piti on Wednesday, 11/10/21 in honor of our Veterans (Veterans Cemetery will be closed on Thursday, 11/11/21).

We invite the community, Veterans, and their family members to plant trees at the Veterans Cemetery in honor of their service. The community will be able to come and harvest from the fruit trees in the years to come while visiting their loved ones who have passed. AmeriCorps GSC members will also clean up existing foliage to help revitalize the cemetery.
