Serve and Grow Internship Program

Program Goals

We are looking for high school students who would like to gain experience in a challenging and rewarding environment. Ranging from administrative to agricultural, our Serve and Grow Internship Program will provide hands-on opportunities that fosters workplace skills and personal connections.

Students will gain skills in organizing and planning and improving their communications, teamwork, and leadership skills.

Program Description

Students will work alongside our Program Directors and Coordinators and will serve our Camp’s middle school participants.  They will assist in classroom and garden activities.

Serve and Grow interns will:

  • Engage in a variety of garden tasks, including planting, weeding, harvesting, preparing and clearing beds
  • Learn about growing their own food and methods of sustainable farming
  • Learn about Guam’s food system, and local produce and how to prepare them and their health benefits

The Serve and Grow Internship  Program for Summer 2022 is 8 weeks long with 2 sessions.  The program is from Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:00pm.
