Li’l Sprouts Academy

Description

Help alongside our Program Directors and Coordinators by assisting our Li’l Sprouts Academy participants in classroom and garden activities at Sagan Kotturan Chamoru.

Volunteers will:

• Engage in a variety of garden tasks including planting, weeding, harvesting, and preparing garden beds.

• Learn how to cultivate their own food through learning about methods of sustainable farming.

• Learn about Guam’s food system through preparing local produce and becoming more knowledgeable about their health benefits.

Schedule

Monday – Friday (except during observed holidays) 

2:30 – 3:00 — Activity prep.
3:00 – 5:00 — Instruction
5:00 – 5:30  — Clean up

We encourage volunteers to stay for the entire duration of program hours, but it is not required.
